When one door of happiness closes, another opens

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

In life, we encounter a wide range of situations, but the worst scenario is the one when we keep on blaming ourselves and the situations around us. We start losing faith in the Almighty and cling onto the thought that we have a lot of miseries in our lives.

We tend to forget the happiness or rather ignore it someway or the other. It is important to understand that when one door of happiness closes for us, we should see the one that has opened for us.

People who keep complaining about the closed doors have never actually tried to find the opened one for themselves. When life closes one door, it opens another opportunity for us, and probably that’s even better than the former one.

The reason for which we fail to see that option is only because of the fact that we get so busy nagging over the spilt milk that we skip to notice the privilege that has come up to us.

As there could be nothing greater for anyone than life itself, it is essential to realise that we should always focus on seeing the opportunity that’s ahead. We should let go the things that have already happened in our lives and focus on seeing things that might give us an even greater opportunity.

No matter how adverse the situation has turn out to be, that’s not the end. This is something very true, and we ought to abide by that! Life will always give you new opportunities. All you need is to find them out and make those work in your favour.

If some mishap has already taken place in your life, learn to let it go! You should be the one who is optimistic enough to look beyond the closed doors. When the door is already closed and you know that you have no way to get through it, stop knocking at that same door again and again.

Learn to accept the fact that it won’t be opened for you ever again. Hence, the only thing that you can do at that point of time is to find some other way out. As a result, you should be focusing upon finding some other door to reach your destination and move towards your goal.

Happiness, true happiness, is an inner quality. It is a state of mind. If your mind is at peace, you are happy. If your mind is at peace, but you have nothing else, you can be happy. If you have everything the world can give – pleasure, possessions, power – but lack peace of mind, you can never be happy.

“It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.” – Dale Carnegie
